Both Vivien Leigh and Hattie McDaniel received Academy Awards for their roles in Gone with the Wind. Hattie McDaniel was the first person of colour to receive an Oscar and was required to sit at a segregated table during the ceremony.
The fans were produced by Turner Entertainment in 1989 in the wake of the 50th anniversary of the release of the film.
