The photos shows marks of wear on a blouse top of Vivien Leigh's. The blouse was donated to the Fashion Museum Bath by her daughter Suzanne Farrington in the 1960s. The blouse is dated between 1950 and 1960 in the accession records at the museum. It is a sleeveless piece with low cut buttons at the front. When the research team were able to handle the garment and look closely at its interior and exterior design, we noted marks left by perspiration under the arms. These kinds of marks bring the artefact to life, showing how it was worn and used and invoking the physical presence of its former owner.
