A plaque mounted on the wall of the Fashion Museum Bath. The plaque marks the founding of the museum in 1963 by dress historian Doris Langley Moore (b. 1920, d. 1989). The museum holds several dress items that previously owned by Vivien Leigh donated by her daughter Suzanne Farrington in 1967. Doris Langley Moore and Leigh had worked together on Doris Langley Moore's 1949 book The Woman in Fashion, for which Vivien Leigh had posed as a model from period costumes from the 1800s.
