A tie-in release of the play A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, written in 1947 and adapted to film in 1951 starring Vivien Leigh as Blanch DuBois. This edition of the text features an image of Vivien Leigh on the reverse cover; here she appears as she did in the London stage version of the play which she performed prior to the film adaptation in 1949. Copy on the back cover reads: 'The famous, prize-winning play, now the basis of a great motion picture'.
