The exhibition was designed and curated by the project Principal Investigator Dr. Lisa Stead with the support of Research Assistant Becky Rae, drawing together 13 months of research.

The exhibition showcased the research findings of Reframing Vivien Leigh: Stardom, archives and access project and its collaborative work with the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Topsham Museum and the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum.

The aim of the exhibition was to tell South West star stories in different forms, using audio recordings, digital models, photography and original artefacts to bring visitors closer to the archival histories of Vivien Leigh in the region.

To do this, a range of print and material artefacts were sourced from fashion, film and theatrical history, and collaborations with the Digital Humanities Lab team at the University of Exeter helped transform these materials for innovative interactive interfaces.
