Scarlett O'Hara paper fan

A paper fan with wooden handle featuring a headshot of Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O' Hara in the 1939 film adaptation of Gone with the Wind.

The fan is part of a larger set featuring Clark Gable as Rhett Butler and Hattie McDaniel as Mammy. Both Vivien Leigh and Hattie McDaniel received Academy Awards for their roles in Gone with the Wind. Hattie McDaniel was the first person of colour to receive an Oscar and was required to sit at a segregated table during the ceremony.

The fans were produced by Turner Entertainment in 1989 in the wake of the 50th anniversary of the release of the film.
